PromoTicket (Pty) Ltd respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in strict compliance with the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only the essential personal information required to facilitate ticketing and gate verification: full name, email address, mobile number (for SMS/WhatsApp ticket links), and organiser banking coordinates for EFT payouts.

3. No Card Storage Policy

PromoTicket NEVER captures, processes, or stores your credit/debit card numbers or CVVs on our servers. All financial transactions are securely processed directly by PayFast, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified South African payment gateway.

4. Data Sharing & Organiser Access

Event organisers receive access to attendee manifests solely for gate check-in, safety protocol management, and event-related updates. PromoTicket does not sell or lease user information to third-party advertisers.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, request corrections, or request deletion of your account. Contact our Information Officer at privacy@promoticket.co.za.
